Charging I touch 32gb
Can I use the Keyboards USB (I Mac) to Charge my Itouch? For some strange reason the keyboard on my Imac stopped working right after I plugged in my I touch a couple of times. I shut off the computer and back on again and the keyboard is now functioning?

The USB hub in the keyboards is not high enough power. It often can't charge things or handle higher power devices at all. Some other keyboards with USB ports are even worse than Apple's. Apple's should be plenty for a USB drive or card reader. The mouse mentioned above probably charges slower or something, so it is ok.
Use a real port from a powered hub (that means it has its own electric power cord to the wall) or right on the computer for charging. |
