which password manager do you use?

i am looking for password mgr with desktop sync (to mac desktop, not pc), and it does NOT have to auto login for me, just display the password, and I can type it in.
Cost not too much of an issue. Looking for something simple.
Reccommendations?

Definitely 1Password. Desktop version works well and you get good support.

None

None. I haven't been happy with any of them.

1Password seems to be the "best" in this category, so if you must use one I'd point you that way. But honestly, I didn't like it at all so I'm not exactly suggesting it, per se.

I've been using mSecure for about 4 months and I love it. I downloaded 1Password and 1Password Pro a few weeks ago when they were free, but haven't gotten around to playing with them yet.

I see that 1Password has the ability to autofill webpages, where mSecure doesn't. That's cool, but that's not a feature I needed (plus, i don't think they had that feature when I was in the market for the app). So when I was ready to take the plunge, I decided to save money and spend $3 on mSecure instead of $5 for 1Passord or $8 for 1Password Pro, and haven't regretted it a bit.

*I started with SplashID. Wish there had been a trial available before I bought it
* I then bought 1Password Pro. Later offered for free for Thanksgiving I believe. It's OK if you want to use the desktop to autofill your passwords. Not for me.
* I finally settled on mSecure because I can see all my information on the main screen without tapping on the record to see the details on another screen.

I recommend mSecure because it works as good as the others and both the iphone app and the desktop app are cheaper.

Also, if you just want the ability to backup your data to your desktop (Mac or Windows), their mBackup utility (http://msevensoftware.com/mbackup.html) is free, fast and easy to use.

Granted, it doesn't let you view your data graphically (saves it as a .csv file, which can be viewed in Excel), but that was all I needed so I didn't have to buy the desktop software.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the Firefox app, or your cerebrum might just stop working due to oxygen deprivation.

You can use the keychain on iDisk to sync between computers, if that's what you mean. (Dropbox is much, much better.)

edit: I checked the iTunes description and it says MM/WebDav is coming 'soon.' If you want more details, maybe consider asking one of the devs on their website. They're very responsive.

I'll add to the 1Password recommendations.

For those that use their brain, you must not have different passwords for multiple web sites. I use a different one in many places that I don't want to use a shared one, so remembering which one I used where is more than I can keep up with. Without 1Password I'd never be able to log in again in some places.

A new one that has recently come on the scene is Password Caddy. No desktop sync yet but the dev is working on one and near completion. It's also going to have full Mac OSX compliancy for those of us that prefer the better things in life One to keep an eye on.
