mac mini hooked to tv, MB wifi'd to mini, can I use the TV as a second monitor?

I want to use the tv as a second monitor on my macbook rather than just use screen sharing to the mac mini.

Is there a program to let me do that? I googled it, but no results, so I am pretty sure it is a small chance of it being possible.
