Power Switch broken, is there an App to turn off power?

Appears the button on top for sleep/wake does not work anymore so I can not power down my iPhone 3g.
Short of running out of battery I can not turn off my iPhone, reset it or put it to sleep...
Is there an app out there so I can get 1-5 months more on this one before getting the next one?
