European Apple Stores being up-dated?

All the European Apple Stores are down "being updated" is this routine or does this mean their launching something?
 
weird, perhaps its just routine,
I would have thought the US site would be down as well if anything major was going to be updated, also Tuesdays tend to be the day for annoucements of late.
 
Well the US store is still up and the European store is down. Either it is just general site maintenance or something specific to Europe. I know that the US has launched a new finance deal with Mastercard, perhaps they are going to do something similar in Europe.
