13" MacBook Pro - Desktop Stand

I used to use Logitech's Alto Connect Stand. The USB ports were a nice addition.

I spent $5 on a stainless napkin holder, stuck felt pads on the inside, and avoided paying a premium for something like that.

Let's redefine premium.

I like the Logitech alto cordless... if you don't have an external monitor. It comes with a nice wireless keyboard and flods flat to boot! Even better, it can often be found for $20 with free shipping (I got mine from buy.com, but have seen it elsewhere at that price).

holy crap! $300 for a piece of aluminum and rubber??? I'm in the wrong business.

Right now I am using a K•Swiss shoe box to elevate mine, lol.

Otherwise I have looked at these two, I kind of like the second one better but it is more expensive.

You made a good choice. The mStand is what I use.

And I have mine hooked up to the HP 2509m monitor.

M Stand just received mine and it works great

I use a pair of post-it note pads. There's no real need to improve airflow in the first place, I just like the angle for typing.

I got the elevator. It isn't bad for what you get but....I think I may have preferred the mstand more.

Good choice, glad I could help!

If you are willing to spend a bit more, go for an MStand - they are made out the same alluminum that the Macbooks are made out of, and as a result it looks awesome. If you have a bit tighter, I would go for the Logitech Alto Express Laptop Stand. It's made out of curvy clear plastic and looks awesome. It also doesn't elevate the Macbook as much as the MStand, which in my case was actually better, as now it is the same height as the screen, and with the MStand it would have been higher.

While we are here, and I don't want to create a new thread on the matter. What are my options for an adjustable stand? Or how can I make my own adjustable stand, I have seen a DIY PVC stands, so I was just wondering what options I had out there.

I'm using the mStand. Just got it a week ago and it looks really nice.
