Hey all,
I just bit the bullet and spent 130 on a 512 stick of RAM for my iBook. I gotta say, at 640 Meg, this thing screams.

I thought 256 was fast.

Best investment I have made thus far for my iBook!

Agreed, btw love the paint on the older ibooks like yours. Mine looks so much cheaper

Yup putting 640mb RAM in my iBook made it soooo much faster. I have an iBook 700. My Hitachi 7200rpm harddrive was a close second... 🙂

i maxed out my 600MHz ibook asap, on 128MB it felt like molasses on a cold day
