Reliable Place in New York City to install a new screen for MacBook Pro 15-inch
I'm new to this forum and need your help in recommending an inexpensive and honest repair shop/repair person so I can purchase a replacement for my cracked screen and have them install it. I'm no longer on a warranty and can't afford the price Apple is quoting.
I know one can order it on line etc, but I would rather go to a repair store that can do it while I wait etc. Apple said the part I need is 661-4238 SVC Display Clamshell AG . It's for a 15" Aluminium MacBook Pro. Matte. 1400x900 Resolution. Also could you advise me how much I should pay for a screen and labor no to be ripped off? Any recommendations you could share are really appreciated! Thanks! |

How much did apple quote you? I don't think you'll be satisfied with the costs from Any repair provider because the entire top of the case will need to be replaced. I'd be surprised if you didn't have to pay over half the cost of the machine.
