Defragment Time Machine?

I know that there is a debate as to whether to use Disk Warrior at all, but if you do, would you also use it on your Time Machine external drive?

Thanks.

Personally, I see no need
And I would hesitate to do anything to my backup that might compromise it
If you are consistently encouraged to backup your data before doing any kind of defrag, why would you risk defragging your backup?
