So I get this folder in my trash, "Recovered files," every time I turn on/restart my computer. I have never had this issue with my MBP and only with my iMac. Does anyone know what is going on/how to turn this feature off? I am a little OCD and hate having files just siting in my trash. Always feel like I need to empty them right away. :D

dont worry about it. i dont technically know its use, but i think its just something Mac OS X does to recover caches after a restart. look thru there to see if there is anything you want to keep, usually nothing for me. i have seen a photoshop document in there once, but it was already saved.
