1,000,000 Post Avatar Contest - Best Static Avatar

The mods have voted and have made our choices for the finalists of the Best Static Avatar contest. Now it's the members' turn to vote for their favorite. The winner will be the entry with the most votes by the end of the voting period, Friday at midnight EDT. In case of a tie, we'll leave the polls open for an extra day.

This was not an easy task and we have several honorable mention entries as well (see below). Congrats to all the members who entered the most participated-in contest in MacRumors history (over 230 entries). Thanks for your participation.

That's fine, everyone has there own prefs. It would be nice to be able to have the members vote on all the entries, but its not that simple. There are a enough mods voting that we get a good amount of diversity in the selection anyway.

Well colour me chuffed.

Of all the icons I did for that set, that one took the least amount of time. Bout 18 mins from creation to final tweakage.
Will have to get my posting here up to speed.......

I know what you mean. Out of everything displayed, I like Flickta's Olympic themed avatar best. The rest are not that appealing to me.

Erm, you know, I would like to express my gratitude to all people who voted (even if accidentally) for my av. submission. I am sooo happy I was chosen to be one of the finalists and twice became an @honorable mention@ guy. I'd spam my way up to 500 posts to boast my av-making skills, but that's not a way of a real samurai. Hagakure, that is.

It's a pity I wasn't aroun when the polls were open and the votes had been cast. But. I think everything went cool. I congratulate everyone who won the game, and...
