macOS Access iPhone battery state when connected to computer

Hi

Anyone can hel me with this problem? i want to write a little app that allow me to read the state of iPhone battery from my Mac when of course my iPhone is connected to computer and its visible in iTunes. There's a way to do this with some iTunes API? Can anyone tell me if I can do this? thanks a lot
