Well, everything is fine with my new i7 iMac, and I love the magic mouse.

However, I'd like a nice mousepad - I have a glass top table, so it won't work directly on the table - I'm sure all kinds of amazing pads exist, so come on, let's see some cool ones! THANKS!

I'm in the exact same situation as you. I have a glass table. I found a GREAT pad that looks very classy on the table. Here is a link to the product.

(i'll soon be upgrading to a new macbook pro, new display, and new magic mouse!)

Outstanding spaceball. The best mouse pad in the world, without any doubt.

Two sides: one extremely smooth 'Speed'; the other rougher 'Control'. It's sturdy, washable, and the white ones are still knocking around the net if you are so inclined.

My first Exactmat was borrowed by my brother as he was so impressed with it. Although indefinitely "borrowed".

My Second is still going strong in its 2rd year.

Damn, spaceballl, that's one sharp mat! Wow, it exceeds my expectations!

Thank you for that! Anyone else wants to chime in with a competitor? Otherwise, I'm going with the exactmat!

Edit: Oops - out of stock... now what??

Razorfish has a very similar gaming mousepad that you can check out here:

http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/p-67-rocketfish-gaming-mouse-pad-black.aspx

It looks a lot like the Razor and has sides configured for "control" and "speed." I got it for $20 at Best Buy and I've since seen it for $15 on-line.

Well, I decided to go with this, bought it for $20+ including shipping through an Amazon merchant. I should have it here next week, and I'll report on it.

Thank you everybody!

There is some bad press on the seller from Tom's Hardware. I just ordered, I like to give folks a change. OWC sells them as well.

If mine arrives (the tracking info he sent shows it being sent to the wrong address), I will let you know how it goes.

Yea, but I read into that entire drama trip too and that guy who runs the company was just such an a$$.

Nice pad, but I don't know...

From the one side, yes he was. But I think Tom's Hardware was being a little... a$$ish as well.

We will see. I paid with Paypal, so if he doesn't come through I will get my money back and maybe just buy it from OWC (or maybe ask them about him.)

+ 1 for the eXactmat, used it with my older Deathadder and now with my Mamba, its great!

Ofcourse if you want something Apple themed, theres a white version of the eXactmat by razer called the pro|pad link

I have the same problem with my magic mouse on a granite desk, and I'm sick of using it on a giant notebook. What I'm looking for is a low profile paper thin mousepad (I used to have one at my last job) but they seem to be hard to find. All these bulky pads are unnecessary.

I think Razer also makes an extremely thin, flexible similar mousing surface. Check their site.

Get one of these, apple rep gave me one.
