Any older stock 3Gs in Apple stores?

New to the iPhone scene and would like to jailbreak but I have a week 42 with iboot-359.3.2. 😡 I would like to have an untethered jailbreak. Anyone have any luck getting older stock under week 42 recently? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

I doubt it.
I was hoping AT&T stores would have old stocks so last week I advised a friend to try that instead. And guess what, he got a tethered jailbreak 3GS🙁
 
My phone I got as a replacement on Saturday was a new bootrom, the one I got Monday was an old bootrom. It seems to be random.

Go to a Best Buy store. They still may have older stock on hand. I got my two white 3gs from BB, week 38 and 39 😀😀. Just be nice to the BBY mobile sales associate and ask if you can look at the serial # on the iphone box before you commit to buying it. Good Luck.
