Hello,

I'm wondering how the iPod calender function works, I mean can I insert todos to it?
If I can, how is that done? Is it done through the iPod or the PC/Mac or in anyway I like?

Thanks for any help.

Hey there,

You can use the Calendar feature on the iPod by syncing it with a program called "iCal" on a Mac. I'm not sure if you can use it if you own a Windows PC, but you can definitely set it to sync with iCal using iSync. 🙂

Oh ok.

I'm asking because my brother is thinking about getting a iPod but he's on a Windows PC.
And he would really like to be able to use the calender function.

Well I'm not saying that its impossible on a Windows computer. I'm saying that it'll definitely work on a Mac. I've never tried it on a Windows PC, though. Hope someone else can help you out. 🙂

Ok.

But anyway, you can only sync stuff (calender stuff) from the computer and NOT add stuff directly to the iPod?

anyone?

I have searched google and found nothing about how the calender feature works, I have a feeling that you can only sync stuff to it but I want to be sure.

do you mean adding an appt on the fly?
no.
there's no input mechanism.

Thanks, now I know about that for sure.

But still, since my brother is a windows user is there a calender app for windows that he can sync with?
