Is it possible to replace the stock "App Store" icon?

Is it possible to replace the stock "App Store" icon?

I want to replace it with this icon. (appstore.png)

I would also like to replace the stock "Cydia" icon with this one. (cydia.png)

/var/stash/Applications/Cydia.app/icon.png

Also? Get iFile and explore your phone's file system. It's worth taking time to get to know your phone.
 
or he can do a theme and not permanently change his icons.

get winterboard, then go to / > var > stash > themes, make a new file call it whatever you want. Make a new folder inside that folder called "Icons", then play those icons in there and name the Cydia one "Cydia.png", and the App Store one, "App Store.png". go back to ur phone and go into winterboard, select the file you made, and click the home button.

Now I just need to figure out how to "scale" them to the proper size. I replaced the "Cydia" icon but it's too big. I noticed there were to icons, icon.png and Icon-small.png. What size do I need to get the proper stock scale like all the other icons on my iPhone?

Whoa! I thanked you for your help and I'm not sure why you think I screwed myself. I made copies of the original files and put everthing back the way it was before I changed anything. Everything is perfectly fine, I'm not screwed, never said I was. I just wanted to do a quick test to see what it looked like. I really don't want to use Winterboard (no offense) so I just SSH'd them into the phone, pretty easy process compared to installing Winterboard just to see what the icon will look like.

Yeah, you have to resize them to 57x57. Sounds good.

Also? I don't blame you for wanting to avoid Winterboard just to replace a couple of icons. Last time I restored my iPhone I didn't bother installing Winterboard, and just made all my customizations directly. Much cleaner.
