Core Duo iMac Display Issue

Hi Folks

Long time reader, first time poster here. I'm looking for advice. I was sitting here at my iMac and suddenly it seems to have developed a display fault. The rightmost 2 inches of the screen are showing vertical bands of garbage which occasionally change.

I guess this is logic board / video card (same thing?) related?

Any suggestions or advice?
