W3 Patch 406 (1.17 beta) for Mac OS X out

finally! took a few weeks but mac support for the new beta is finally up, and it is a pretty significant update. two new neutral heros, kind of weird ones (they are starting to annoy me with these goofy @$$ neutral heros, this isn't a cartoon, i don't want to be a drunken panda! but i digress). i'll update in a bit with my thoughts :P. TONS (read 100's) of bug fixes.

wow, that sounds awesome. I'm psyched. How did you get your hands on the beta? When can we expect the full release?

all you need to do is log on to the westfall (beta) server, and it should patch automatically. REMEMBER TO SWITCH TO WESTFALL AGAIN! otherwise if you launch w3 and hit b.net, it will have reverted to your default server, and patch BACK to 1.16.

patch 406 kicks @$$, but nobody's on the server right now :/, takes close to 5 minutes to get a game going (of random 3v3).

custom games vs computer are a bit better, the computer AI seems improved.

footmens new 30% reflection rocks. new heros are nice as well, however the firelord or whatever should be intel not agil.
