Apple Expo Paris 2004 Keynote Speech

Beginning at Midnight PDT (3 a.m. EDT) MacRumors forums will be closed due to the current Apple Expo Paris keynote program featuring Phil Schiller. MacRumors is planning to offer live coverage of the event. Forums will reopen for posting directly following the Keynote speech.

Live coverage and discussion will take place on our Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Channel. Those unfamiliar with IRC may download our Mac OS X MRChat1.0.1 client (800k) which will automatically connect you to the proper channel.

More advanced IRC channel users may use server: irc.krono.net, channel: #macrumors

I believe that is what is going to happen. the IRC chat is just a way to converse during the keynote as the forums will be closed, at least that's how I took it.

Does anyone here remember the MacRumors AOL chatroom we had some keynotes ago? That was a lot of fun.

I don't think it's only 1 more hour as it's 7:03 in London right now. Paris is 1 hour faster I think. Then there's DST and stuff to take into account and it's way too early for that.

I wish it was 4pm here.... It's 11:30pm, and I'm debating whether to stay up or not. Sadly, I've got Calculus first thing in the morning.

I think it will be around 4:30 or so before we get any important info on anything worthwhile. The beginning will be recaps and small updates I think. A Tiger rehash basically. It'll be a while before we get the juicy stuff.

This should be it....forums going down soon. Next on list to go down: the Apple Store.
