emac G4 700 mhz

Hi guys,

I am new to Macs and just looking for help. I recently bought an eMac G4 700Mhz, 256MB RAm 40GB HDD off ebay with no OS. Will Mac OS X 10.5 work on this emac. Anyone with links to get me started?

Thanks

Vicand

Maximum supported OS is 10.4.11, as 10.5 has a minimum requirement of an 867MHz G4.

Here's a link to that model on LowEndMac.com, which gives a bit more info and some helpful links.

However, while 10.5 cannot be directly installed, there is a solution in a piece of software called LeopardAssist. This does require an OS to be installed already however, so I think youre out of luck.
