so i jailbroke my iphone 3g a week ago after i accidentally updated to 3.1.3 and im on 3.1.3 and everything is going fine until recently after using alot of 3g for just regular use, it randomly crashes now, sometimes after im using 3g it crashes, when i try to take a pic after a restart it crashes, when i exit map it crashes, these crashes are just so random and around, and sometimes the iphone is a bit sluggish, is this because of a bad jailbreak or what? do i need to restore to 3.1.3 and just not jailbreak it? id really like to keep my winterboard and 5 dock stuff, and all.

is it possible to restore and downgrade to 3.1.2? or am i stuck on 3.1.3 re-jailbreak only?

i used snowbreeze to jailbreak this time, maybe i should try red snow?

At the iPhone hacks section.
Thats probably the problem.
I would advise everyone to stay away from Snowbreeze.
Yes on a 3G model you can restore to 3.1.2 and then jailbreak with redsnow.
You should be fine after that.

so i can be on 3.1.2 with baseband 05.12.01? i dont really need the unlock im on at&t anyway for now, i wish the 5 icon dock and winterboard was part of iphone, its just looks better. i think il go with redsn0w and just jailbreak to 3.1.2 if possible, sounds like 3.1.3 isnt so good anyway

lol learned something new, from jailbroken 3.1.3 you cant directly go to jailbroken 3.1.2, i thought i successfully rejailbroke it seems like not, i guess i have to restore it to 3.1.2 then jailbreak it. xD
