I'm not sure if you guys have read this or not, but I found it interesting. The whole concept of the "iPad" originated as an April Fool's Joke. See the following post at Google Groups:

Note the date: 4/1/00. Not only has the rumored iPod always been a fake, but a two-year-old one at that.

Now it seems the "iPad" has evolved into more of a generic name us hopefuls use for Apple's rumored non-existant PDA. Well eye, there's one fake Apple PDA name you can cross off your hate list. 😀

The word was PURSE.... As in a leather or cloth pouch used to carry things, often used as a generic term for a ladies' handbag.😀 😉 😛

I think you may have read it P****.... as in a semi-vulgar slang term for the female sexual apparatus.


iPad is more like a feline motto.😀 🙄 😎
