Hi,

I just upgraded the memory in my Late 09 Unibody White MacBook. (The currently for sale model).

Rather than just fire it into a drawer, and then throw it away in a couple of years, if there's anyone in the Toronto area that wants it, PM me and you can have it - no charge.

You might want to keep it. If you ever have to send it to Apple for repairs, you might find your upgraded ram replaced with stock 2x1gb.

there have been people who've maxed out MBPs on their own, then send to apple and it comes back with just the original ram.

always a good idea to put the origina ram back in before sending to apple.
