I have a question:

I know that when my friend got his G4 iMac, in the box was the wired mouse and keyboard (this was before the wireless mouse and keyboard). What I'm wondering is, when you order a wireless mouse and keyboard with an iMac (or any desktop), don't the wireless mouse and keyboard ship in boxes separate from the iMac box?

If so, are the wired versions still in the box with the iMac? Or are they removed? Maybe replaced with the wireless versions?

I'm assuming the iMac ships without the wired versions if you order with wireless.

If it were offered as a built-to-order option, yes it would come inside the iMac box. But they do not offer this option, so presumably even if you ordered them at the same time, they would come in their own boxes, and the iMac would come with a wired version.

Come to think of it, you actually need a wired mouse to discover the bluetooth peripherals, so it *couldn't* come without a wired set. Unless Apple loaded something on to autodiscover them...
