Hello, recently i have been experiencing problems w/ safari when downloading .dmg files. For some reason, Safari would change the file index from .dmg to dms so that it can't be opend automatically. I have seen some threads about this:

I can manually fix the problem by changing the file index back to dmg. But does anyone know a more permanent fix to this?
BTW, i have tried reinstalling safari, but it didn't really work. Some help, plz.
