My girlfriend is in India but doesnt have a MAC, so I was wondering if I can use iSight and iChat to communicate with her audio/video when she has AIM and a PC?

Thanks!

You can use iChat to talk to someone on Windows using the latest version of AIM for Windows, as long as she has a PC-compatible video camera.

So if she has a camera compatible with her PC and the latest version of AIM, we are set? No compatibility problems with iChat and AIM?

Shouldn't be - I've done it. Good luck!

I have a different question along these lines... Could I use an iSight as a camera for AIM on a PC?
I know, I know, Why would I ever use iSight on a PC? Well, I don't have my powerbook yet. Still need to save up, but I want a camera and I figure if the iSight works for Windows, then I wouldn't have to get two.
