My grandfather has been using an old Windows PC (circa 1994, an AIO Compaq Presario 5528) that finally died and now he would like a new computer. Thankfully he is agreeable to getting an eMac as I recommended (the AIO design, cheap price and the CRT are ideal for him). So, two questions...
Where can I get the best deal on a combo-drive eMac? He will be using it for e-mail, internet and mostly card games (solitaire, poker, etc.). An earlier generation would be fine, but I would prefer new/Apple re-furb for warranty purposes. Anyone know a place that is selling the previous generation eMacs for $599? I thought I heard of something like that a while ago. There is nothing in the Apple re-furb store right now.
Also, any recommendations for freeware/shareware card games?
Thanks.
