I followed multiple videos how to downgrade the iPod to 3.1.2.
I downloaded the firmware from:
http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
and i have the latest version of iTunes.
Every time i do this i get the:
"The iPod 'iPod' could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build."
message.

I haven't really tried doing it on another computer but i'm no sure whether or not that will help. Please help me 🙂
thanks in advance

Apple stopped signing 3.1.2, to stop people downgrading down again so they could jailbreak.

I've no idea how to get it back to 3.1.2, but it's going to be very hard. (or probably impossible...)

None of those will work. Stop trying, mate. Unless it was jailbroken before and SSH/SHSH'd, you're SOL. Unless you're on a "3G" iPod Touch 8gb, you can't do it. Apple doesn't sign 3.1.2. You're screwed. Please try the search feature next time too.
