I live in the US and bought my MacBook Pro in the US when i moved last year from the UK, my Mac's locale is set to United Kingdom and language is British English. Before I updated iTunes to 9.1 my iTunes categories were Music, Movies, TV Shows and Applications. Now after the update they are the more british way Music, Films, TV Programmes and Apps.
Anyone else encounter this? or was it like that for UK mac owners before the update?

Strange I am in UK on a iMac 2007, and updated to iTunes 9.1, and have Music, Movies, TV shows, how come I have this then? even in preferences it is the same listings?

Make sure in System Preferences, in Language & Text, British English is dragged to the top of your languages list. Also make sure United Kingdom is selected in the Formats tab.
