i have 3 sections in itunes apps

sorry im sure this is a stupid question but can't figure it out

i know what the ipad section is--only for ipad won't work with iphone or ipod touch.

but what is the dif between

iphone,ipod touch and ipod apps
and

iphone, ipod touch

shouldn't they all work on ipad?

so you dont have to search for a app for the ipad that isnt there but already on your existing apps

The iPad/iPhone/iPad Touch is for universal apps. They have iPad optimization built-in and will detect which device it's running on.

I've now got four sections. I also have 'iPod Games', which for some reason has 2007 written beside it..never noticed that before. Who said iTunes is getting unwieldy?
