Just noticed something interesting. On the iPhone, sleeping the device turns off the wifi. Since the Skype app won't work over 3G (yet), this renders it useless to get incoming calls since it loses connectivity as soon as the screen goes dark.

This is not the case on the iPad however. Running Skype and sleeping the device works great, and you can get incoming calls just fine. Of course Skype has to be running when you sleep the iPad, but this is still huge for those who want to use Skype on the iPad.

Just a heads up for Skype users. Now if we can just get a 3G capable version for the iPhone, and a full screen version for the iPad!

(yes, I typed this on an iPad)
