Moving Apps between Ipad and Iphone

I have an Iphone and have a fair few apps on it that I will also want to use on the Ipad.

Firstly: Does anyone know if there are any licence issues regarding having a paid app on both your Ipad and Iphone.

Secondly: What happens with game data on apps such as Final Fantasy?
