PDFs on iPad?

Get Goodreader. There's a whole mess of ways to get PDFs into it, including through the shared file mechanism on the iTunes app page.
 
If you're too cheap to spend 99c on GoodReader, you can E-Mail yourself the PDF.

I highly recommend GoodReader though. Brilliant app.
