Air Sharing/ Logmein Ignition question

I just bought airsharing to transfer files to the ipad. Only thing i dont like is there is no way to transfer them to other apps, like padnotes. Would getting logmein ignition be redundant to get? And can i transfer any of the documents onto the ipad from it?

Logmein just lets you access your computer remotely. Can't copy stuff to the iPad with that.
