Hello all - I take notes in my classes and I need to use a notebook for graphs, etc. in my enonomics class. When I do this I put the notebook ontop of my keyboard and use it like that. Then when I'm done I have accidental "keystrokes" from where the notebook pressed keys. I'm looking for a shareware app with which I can hit a keyboard combination and disable the keyboard, hitting the keyboard combiniation again to re enable it. Anyone ever used anything or know of anything like this?

Well if you can't find anything you could just turn on your screen saver and make it require a password. Or use fast user switching to log out to the login screen (you'll still be logged in... just... at the login screen instead). However if you go to the login screen make sure you have the shutdown/restart buttons disabled lest you accidentally restart your computer.
