My current contract is up for renewal soon and I am looking for an iPhone to g owith my 27" iMac, does anyone have any info on a release date?

I thought that, but I heard Apple were making some sort of big announcement today (8th April)

They're giving a sneak peak at the new OS 4.0 today. Won't be anything about the new hardware.

Surely there should be a sticky about this, it gets asked about 17 times a day.

They're having an event on iPhone OS4, and not particularly on the next Gen iPhone. Someone pls correct me if am wrong..

They're demoing the new Version 4.0 OS for iPhone/iPad. Last 3 years the iPhone has been released in late June/early July, I suspect it will be much the same this year.
