iPod downgrade HD video to SD for ipod touch?

I have some TV shows I got only in HD, for some reason I didn't get the SD version. iTunes won't let me put it on my 2g ipod touch.

Is there a way I can remove the DRM in iTunes TV shows to convert it to SD for my iPod using handbrake?
