Could someone tell me is this a hardware or sorftware problem?
My mother has the below machine with a front loading tray CD Rom drive. Hardware Overview: Machine Model: iMac CPU Type: PowerPC 750 (3.0) Number Of CPUs: 1 CPU Speed: 267 MHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB Memory: 128 MB Bus Speed: 67 MHz System Software Overview: System Version: Mac OS X 10.3 (7B85) Kernel Version: Darwin 7.0.0 She has an external CD RW drive attached via a USB port but cannot get it to burn, only read. The system profile says USB Mass Storage Device: Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST Model: HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8400B Drive Type: CD-RW Disc Burning: Not Supported Removable Media: Yes Detachable Drive: Yes BSD Name: disk2 Product ID: 1793 ($701) Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec OS9 Drivers: No Vendor Name: Genesyslogic Bus Power (mA): 500 Serial Number: 001200006514 Does anyone know how to get it to burn?
