James_C macrumors 68030 Sep 18, 2004 #7 DVD-ROM disc is used for storing data and interactive sequences as well as audio and video, generally on a computer, and not on DVD player. BTW Jimsowden has the right way to create a DVD that will play in a DVD player.

R raynegus macrumors regular Sep 18, 2004 #8 You can download the latest Toast update here. No ID code needed. Yes, you can burn a VIDEO_TS folder on a DVD-R that works flawlessly in standard DVD players. Use MacTheRipper and DVD2oneX. Great software.
