How long is my ipod warrenty from date of purchase if I didn't buy apple care?

If you do want the extended warranty please make sure you buy it within your one year of purchase, if you are a day out of warranty Apple will not extend your coverage.

Or you could buy 1 of these for about $40, as long as it's within 30 days of purchase. 3 more years warranty.
