Diablo II and Modern Warfare on MBA, how they run?

I'm considering to buy a new MBA maybe around september and I don't play many games on my MacBook C2D '08. I played WoW and was running ok but I had to be careful with the graphic options to make it run smoothly.

I would like to play Diablo III and MW2 on my future MBA, so I would like to know how the previous chapter are running on the current MBA. Anyone?

MW2 runs a bit hot and when it gets hot, the frame rates plummet; takes about 5 minutes to get hot. I gave up after 15 minutes.

I'm actually considering to get an iMac i5 instead of a MBA regardless and keep my MacBook late '08.

I don't think the new MBA will have any substantial update.

I would definitely go with the iMac, or rather, pretty much ANYTHING besides a MBA. It has always been my opinion that the MBA is a computer that is only really practical for people that have too much money to blow. If it were priced at half its current point, it would fly off the shelves. Due to the fact that it is under powered and over priced, it is not worth it.

The GPU inside it is terrible. It could play Diablo II wonderfully. Diablo II, however, is also INCREDIBLY OLD and ran wonderfully on my iMac 333MHz.

So, if you've got money that you don't mind wasting, buy the Air. Also buy another computer.

^^agreed, the MBA's only saving grace is its weight, the cheaper white Macbook or similarly priced 13" MBP are both much better buys.
