For content, it's difficult to beat http://www.bbc.co.uk/
For usefulness, it's difficult to beat http://www.versiontracker.com/
For versatility, I swear by http://search.yahoo.com/ (better results than Google I've found)
For self plugging, I'm resigned to http://www.mikeserieys.co.uk/
For design, I've failed to find anything better than http://www.federicafontana.it/ (warning - tasteful and non-explicit nudity ahead)

Random, and probably already known submission from me is http://www.virtualstapler.com

It would be churlish to say Google, so i would say www.Archive.org An important reference tool that outlines the web's history in a usable form. Its archive of 1950s infomercials is hilarious!

For personal bias, I would have to say www.aaronapter.com
That aside,a classic from college is www.realultimatepower.com
I still quote lines from that. Man, I'm so pumped up right now I want to drop kick my mom!

I visit the following sites daily:
www.newgrounds.com (I have a movie there under user "steve_matarazzo")
www.macrumors.com (great source of news and friendly forums)
www.versiontracker.com (although a few dead links make me go to www.macupdate.com)
www.lowendmac.com (I love this site, very useful for me)
www.theforce.net (I admit, I'm a Star Wars junkie, may the force be with you...)

Also I enjoy www.applefritter.com, www.appleinsider.com, www.joyoftech.com, www.computergeeks.com, www.shrevesystems.com and www.macofalltrades.com

Also I like my site a lot, but posting it here would be greedy and selfish

...you can find my site link in my signature! hahaha
