Sorry if this has been posted. I did search first but I haven't seen many results from the 13" with 320m GPU. Any 13ers want to chime in with their framerates?

Thanks

I found this on the WOW forums. Looks like a 1.5-2x increase in frame rate:

I just upgraded my macbook pro from last years 13" to this years. I would say the 320m gives a very noticeable difference. I now have all settings turned to good. With shadows, lighting, etc. all turned on. It's running great. I get about 30FPS in Dal and about 60FPS anywhere else. I was getting about 19FPS in Dal on average before with huge dips down to like 5FPS. I actually had everything turned way down and had to cap my FPS at 30 with the old macbook. Now I log in and I'm ready to play! I was actually worried I wouldn't really be able to tell the difference for the upgrade but so far I am really impressed."

Thanks for the info.

Just one second hand report? C'mon guys...I know you have run some games on your new 13". I am interested if the 320m is going to be good enough for now.

ya friends please post your gaming experience...
I am unable to post Bcoz my mac will arrive on May 14th :(

I would like to know if dragon age: origins works with mid settings on the new macbook pro 2010 (smoothly)

:)

I'm really wondering about Diablo III and Starcraft II. I could care less about graphical quality, I just want to play with a smooth framerate. I have Alienwares at my office that will let me see the visuals just fine.

Im pretty insterested in theese numbers too. If anyone has a link to a review of the 13" with benchmarks, feel free to post.

What is with "The Witcher?" Does it works?

I'd be interested to know how The Witcher runs as well. But if people have had success playing Dragon Age, I don't see any reason The Witcher wouldn't run on a 320M on at least low-med settings.

Am I wrong to think that 38.9fps for COD4 is pretty decent? They didn't describe the settings that it was on to achieve that though.

Well, the new 320M was a nice addition, but still far from "pretty decent".

If you are not expecting to play Starcraft2,Diablo3 or Valve games on you mac, go for the 13".

But when I spend more than $1k in a laptop I expect to stay with it for at least more 2-3 years. I just cannot imagine the C2D being competitive in 3 years from now.

Starcraft 2 is running pretty fast with 320M (13" mbp) with medium details, confirmed by many users.

I played an hour of Modern Warfare 2 on the 13" 320M today, runs fine at 1024x768 with some details turned down / off.
