We're trying to go wireless in our apartment, and my roommate has an ibook g3. The white ones, not clamshell. Well, I think her computer is airport ready, but not airport extreme. WHat is the difference, can she still use extreme to get wireless? Where can she get just regular airport if not. THanks.

regular airport is the original b-spec 11mbps version and airport extreme is the new g-spec 54mbps version - G3 ibook is not extreme-capable and needs original airport card, which can be hard to find other than ebay because apple doesn't sell new airport cards anymore.
