Can anyone tell me if this the Rev A. model of the dual 2.0? Is it a good deal?

Yup, that's a rev A (it has the ATi 9600, which is now a BTO option on the rev B).

Depends if you need a DVDR drive, It's a $300 saving, and you get a 9600 instead of the FX5200 (which is a good thing). Seems reasonable, I'd say it depends what you need.

edit: hmmm....just noticed you get AppleCare ($249!) with it, so unless you NEED the DVDR drive in a new DP2GHz, then yes, this is a good deal IMO.
