I wasn't sure where to post this so sorry for the inconvenience, but

Im having some problems with my avatar and profile pic

I dont know how to set up either, thanks and sorry
 
Balloons and confetti come down from the ceiling in your room. Moderators appear and present you with a trophy.

Just go to any post that you've made and click on your name, now click on *View Public Profile*. Voilà, 46 posts you've made up till now.

I uploaded my pic from my pc and a website!

Your profile pic is in your profile. Profile pictures and avatars are two different things. You cannot have a 'tar until you hit 500 posts (as has already been said).

have you got a date...are you checking every 2mins to see if its left bangkok for beijing?

im doing the same thing but not for mac noobs but for photoshop newbs and digi slr newbs

I haven't ordered from Apple, I've gone via cwonline.co.uk (where i bought my last 2 Macs). They reckon sometime in the next 2 weeks which doesn't sound too bad really seeing as others that have pre-ordered from Apple will be waiting until 11/10 (in the US) so I hear.

before this gets ugly....

there is a difference between Avatars and Profile Pictures.

You can't have an Avatar right now because you don't have 500 posts.

Also, next time, try and post a thread in the correct forum, read the F.A.Q. and then ask some questions.
