I've just moved to uni in Stafford, Staffordshire - right next to Birmingham, a city(?) in the middle of the UK. I got this email from apple today:

Yeah it's Birmingham, West Midlands... this news has been floating around for a while.

It's in the new Bullring development (I honestly think they've missed a trick here). That said, Apple cannot afford not to have exposure in the 2nd largest city in the country with a huge potential consumer base.

Manchester is to follow Brum... and then I expect Leeds to follow that.
