Question for you guys who have a dual 1ghz powermac. On your machine is there a lot of hot air pushed out from the back of the power supply?? I have had my machine for some months now but want to make sure that its normal.

Hey Falleron haven't noticed you around recently 🙂

The Dual 1ghzs we have here at work chuck out alot of heat from the back of the units which is not good, I was to know how much heat the XServes chuck out, we have a few in our London base where they are being tested and they arrive at Manchester soon, also, we are buying a few more tomorrow at 2 o'clock.

It does put a lot of hot air from the power supply, but nothing that I would consider too much.

90% of the heat from my machine comes out of the power supply. There is heat coming out of the other air vents, but that is minor in comparison to the power suppy.

I have been on holiday for a while thats why I have not been around. Back now!
