Which earphones and iPad case? Screen Protection?

Kind of surprising that earphones don't come with the iPad.

So I need some and a case. No idea at this point which ones to buy.

For people who have actually tried either/both, would you have any recommendations?

Do I need any screen protection? Users seem to be divided on this.

I just went through this process myself and came to a final decision between the Klipsch Image S4i and the V-Moda Remix.

I know these are a little higher than your price range (they both cost $99) but they do include a remote and mic and the general population seems to like both.

I ended up going with the V-Moda Remix and I gotta say, not only do they sound great but these are the first earbuds that dont hurt my ears and dont fall out.
