So I have noticed a lot of new TVs and Blu-Ray player adding web app type things. Such as Netflix, Pandora, Flickr, Skype, weather, etc. My limited knowledge of these is that these are built in with the computer and probably only changeable from a firmware upgrade and ultimately decided on by the products company.
What some body should do is create an open format for these apps and make a TV that can have new apps added to them.
Maybe somebody has already done this, I don't know.
